W.L. Weller Millennium #2

Weller Millennium #2 builds upon the inaugural release from May 2024 with a newly crafted blend of vintage straight wheated bourbon and wheat whiskeys. Like its predecessor, each component was distilled at Buffalo Trace Distillery in 2001, 2003, and 2006, then carefully set aside to create this exceptional blend in tribute to W. L. Weller. Through the thoughtful combination of these distinct whiskeys, the final expression achieves a remarkable depth and complexity that surpasses the sum of its parts.

Designed to showcase some of the earliest whiskeys distilled in the new millennium, Weller Millennium reflects a transformative era at the distillery. This second edition advances the concept even further, featuring a refined blend that enhances the character of the original release. By selecting and marrying barrels from the early 2000s, it revisits a pivotal period in the distillery’s history that helped define its modern identity.

The second edition delivers a harmonious profile of dark cherry, rich butterscotch, and warm vanilla, layered over notes of well-aged oak. The finish is bold and long-lasting, building to an oak-forward crescendo that leaves a memorable impression.
