Horse Soldier Commanders Select is curated by the U.S. Army Green Berets who answered America’s call days after 9/11 with a daring insertion on horseback, into northern Afghanistan. The brave and unconventional act earned them the moniker of “Horse Soldiers,” whose story was depicted in the Hollywood movie 12 Strong. 

Horse Soldier's seventh release continues the legacy of Commander’s Select’s pedigree, selecting older stocks of bourbon worthy of commemorating life’s Legendary moments.

Crafted in a pot still with a long fermentation process, Commander’s Select VII was laid down 10 years ago in a single Bardstown rickhouse. After a careful selection of Kentucky-sourced barrels, the result is a uniquely dimensional bourbon worthy of the Commander’s Select name.

Tasting Notes: A wheated bourbon with hints of sarsaparilla, vanilla, and birch that finishes smooth with cacao and a touch of honey. 

Mash bill: 70% Corn, 25% Wheat, 5% Barley

Aged 10yrs - 120 Proof/60% ABV
