Turley Steacy Ranch Zinfandel 2023
Planted in 1907 in the sandy loam soils on the east side of Lodi, these ancient Zinfandel vines are interspersed with Grenache, Carignane, and Mission as well. Quintessentially old vine Zinfandel aromas of ripe, sweet fruits alongside savory Rhone-like herbs seasoned with a hint of citrus peel. Refined and elegant on the palate with concentrated, lovely fruit and a deeply pleasing, round texture.

The 2023 Zinfandel Steacey Ranch is packed with wild cherry, incense, tobacco, licorice, menthol, cloves and scorched earth. This is an especially virile, imposing Zinfandel. Carignane, Grenache and Mission round out the blend from this site planted on sand and gravel.

With Mission and Carignan included in the blend, the 2023 Zinfandel Steacy Ranch is deeper with plum, blackberries, brambly earth, and deep mocha tones. Full-bodied, it has silky tannins and more mocha richness, with a rounded, supple texture.
