Pietraserena Vernaccia di San Gimignano 2022
Straight from the historic towers of San Gimignano, Italy, Pietraserena Vernaccia is a Tuscan masterpiece in a bottle. As Italy’s very first DOC wine, this ancient grape has been perfected over centuries.
It is the absolute perfect match for grilled seafood, fresh pasta, or just a sunny afternoon on the patio.
COLOR
brilliant straw yellow with golden reflections
NOSE
intense, embracing, and richly fruity. There are hints of ripe white fruit, notes of candied fruit (especially candied apricot), and floral suggestions (acacia flowers).
TASTE
wine of great body, freshness, and structure with excellent support of acidity and great intensity of taste. From the moment it enters the mouth it shows thickness, roundness, and a marked savoriness.
FINISH
It closes with character and personality, showing propensity and aptitude to age well for at least 2.5-3 years, seeing mineral scents enhance in the bottle and acquiring new fruity hints more and more complex and mature.

| The nose is floral and slightly tart, with aromas of lemon, yellow apple, pear and citrus blossoms, while a nutty undertone provides balance. On the palate, many of those same elements return, but sweeter, although a tickle of acid keeps the sweetness in check. |
