Philippe Girard Sancerre
Philippe Girard Sancerre hails from a historic estate in Verdigny, a premier village in the Sancerre region with winemaking roots dating back to 1789. Originally reserved for family and close friends, the estate’s wines gained wider recognition in the 1960s under Marius Girard, who began bottling and selling their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Today, the current generation meticulously manages 16 acres of vineyards, with intimate knowledge of each parcel, ensuring refined expression and authenticity in every bottle. This Sancerre exemplifies the region’s signature elegance and vibrant minerality.
