Gozio Liquorice Liqueur
The first whiffs pick up delicate scents of Brazil nuts and anise; aeration adds notes of burning rubber, black licorice and paraffin. Palate entry is sharp and intensely aniseed-like; at midpalate a wave of black licorice swamps all other tastes. Concludes rich, but awkward and off balance—there's no subtlety here. Only for black licorice fanatics.
