Bright red in color. Refined and polished, this wine shows the elegant side of Nebbiolo. It is pure, clean and floral with notes of dried cherries, wild flowers, anise and menthol. It shows both good depth and complexity.

| The 2017 Roero is very nicely lifted and refined. Crushed flowers, mint, dried cherry, anise, spice and dried flowers give the 2017 its aromatic intensity. Deceptive in its mid-weight feel, the 2017 has quite a bit of depth, and plenty of structure, too. In the glass, the 2017 is absolutely exquisite, not to mention one of the most complete and enticing Nebbiolos of the 2017 harvest. I expect the 2017 will mature relatively early, but between now and then it will offer tons of pleasure |
