Furthur Straight Bourbon Whisky
Furthur Bourbon is named in honor of “Further,” the 1939 school bus that was owned by novelist Ken Kesey, author of best selling novel, 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest'. He was an iconic figure in the 60s and with the Psychedelic Counterculture. Kesey used the vehicle to move himself and his Merry Pranksters around the country. The bus is symbolic of a time of profound change, and portions of sales from Furthur Bourbon and Rye are being used to restore the bus.
As Kesey metaphorically said at the time, "You're either on the bus or off the bus."
