Fernet Francisco Ruibarbo highlights rhubarb root as its central botanical, marking the latest addition to the Fernet Francisco lineup. Similar to Manzanilla, it undergoes a three-week infusion of various aromatic herbs and botanicals in local grape brandy within stainless steel fermenters. However, this expression features a higher concentration of rhubarb, resulting in a richer, sweeter, and subtly spicier profile. Spearmint and peppermint botanicals have been removed to allow the rhubarb root to take center stage, replaced by select new ingredients that provide a well-balanced overall flavor.
