Copper & Cask Private Batch 8yr Double Oak WS-6

The Copper & Cask Private Batch Series is a collection of limited edition, custom batches, each carefully crafted by marrying together a handpicked selection of stand-out single barrels.

WS-06 is a marriage of select casks of low-rye and high-rye Bourbon, distilled in Indiana and aged in both Indiana and Kentucky. After aging 8 years in their original charred oak casks, the barrels were blended in micro batches and then re-casked in a second round of new charred barrels to finish for 5-9 months.

On the nose, this whiskey is robust with aromas of fudge and orange peel. Once sipped, fruity flavors of cherry and blackberry present themselves before giving way to spicy notes of coffee cake and cherry cola. The finish is long and layered with hints of vanilla, espresso and fruitcake.
