Copper & Cask Private Batch 7yr Double Mash Whiskey WS-7

The Copper & Cask Private Batch Series is a collection of limited edition, custom batches, each carefully crafted by marrying together a handpicked selection of stand-out single barrels.

WS-07 is a marriage of 10 single barrels - 6 casks of low-rye Bourbon and 4 casks of 95% rye whiskey. After selection the barrels, casks were dumped and allowed to marry for an extended period to ensure thorough flavor integration.

On the nose, this whiskey is abundant with spicy aromas of chai tea and cinnamon candies. Once sipped, sweeter flavors of candy orange and peanuts come to the the fore, giving way to more robust notes of cola and molasses. The finish is long with hints of toasted almond, dark roast coffee and wintergreen.
