Enjoyably sleek, plenty of freshness and clarity of fruit. A little tight through the mid palate that pauses the momentum, but this will fill out over ageing, and offers a ton of potential for future pleasure. Jean Luc Thunevin has been consultant for the past three years, but in global strategy rather than winemaking - all winemaking decisions are made by Annabelle Corbin and her cellar master Nicolas Fabre. A yield of 44hl/ha, 77% of production went into the first wine. Aged in a mix of barrels and glass wine globes. Harvest September 8 to 19. |

The 2020 Corbin is a very elegant, precise wine. Silky, beautifully perfumed and light on its feet, it impresses with its purity and guile. The Corbin is not an obvious Saint-Émilion; rather, it is a wine that is all finesse. Crushed berry fruit, spice, mint, blood orange and cedar are all laced together. This is such a classy, polished wine. |

Blueberries and blackberries with smoke and tar undertones. Mushrooms. Full-bodied with layers of ripe tannins and a juicy and fruity finish. Plenty going on with real St.-Emilion character. |
