Buzzard's Roost Kindred Collaboration Small Batch Bourbon
Created by Buzzard’s roost lead distiller Ethan Spalding and his father Chad, a long-time exec in the cooperage industry, this is a bourbon finished in one of Buzzard’s Roost specially toasted barrels – that happens to also be a wave stave barrel.
APPEARANCE
Polished copper with amber highlights.
NOSE
Bright, fresh citrus like a freshly peeled orange. With dark brown sugar, freshly grated cinnamon, dried autumn flowers, and savory freshly sawn oak.
PALATE
Caramel frosting studded with candied orange peel. Notes of cinnamon sugar and vanilla pudding follow closely accompanied by caramelized sugar.
FINISH
Rich mouthfeel allows all flavors to meld finish and continue to speak as they migrate from lips to throat enabling a long, warm finish with a light touch of oak.
