Barrel King Knighted Bourbon - Batch #97

Blend of: 360 bottles of batch #96 (Delta) as base, 3 barrels of 9 and 11 year Stagg finished, 1 barrel of 17 year American Light Whiskey.

NOSE
Sugar and caramel. A light toasted Marshmallow aroma intertwines with a subtle nutmeg. Very enticing nose on this.

PALATE
Buttery cola notes hit first. As it spreads across the palate, the caramel and toast make themselves known. As the palate finishes, chocolate and barrel char complete the picture.

FINISH
The finish on this is where you can really tell Delta was the base for this blend. Barrel funk and cardboard come in strong. Followed by sugary butter like a cookie dough note rounds out the experience.
