The name of Amatiteña comes from the town of Amatitan, Jalisco, which is known as "The Cradle of Tequila". Amatiteña was created by Master Distiller Alberto Partida Hermosillo, Tequila Master of the third generation of the Partida family, who grew up in a town of honest and hard-working people. He decided that his brand should bear the name of the town that saw him grow up. Amatiteña represents a high value in its process and keeps alive the traditions of ancestral Jalisco, agave fields and tequila production. Amatiteña is made by N0M 1477.
