Tenuta Monteti Toscana Rosso 2019
Tenuta Monteti Toscana, named after the estate's protective hill, is the flagship wine of the winery. It boasts an ideal microclimate, shielded from the powerful Mediterranean winds, and benefits from its proximity to the sea. This blend of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon matures for 18 months in French oak barriques, with 70% new. After an additional 2 years of bottle aging, it is released to the market.
Of a deep garnet red with violet reflections, it offers mysterious notes of black cherry, dark fruit, underwood with hints of coffee, palo santo, graphite and violet. It glides in the mouth full-bodied with crackling tannins that lead to a harmonious and remarkably persistent finale.
