Copper & Cask Small Batch Series 8yr Double Oak Bourbon

The Copper & Cask Small Batch Series is a collection of limited edition releases, each carefully crafted by marrying together a handpicked selection of stand-out single barrels.

Small Batch 009 is a marriage of 20 eight year old Bourbon barrels, all distilled at MGP Indiana and aged in Kentucky. Barrels included both the 21% rye mash bill and the 36% high rye mash bill. The whiskey was batched and then re-barreled into a combination of new and used charred barrels for finishing.

On the nose, this whiskey presents aromas of cinnamon roasted almonds and praline. Once sipped, the robust flavors of mocha and Mexican chocolate come to the front before revealing notes of cherry pie filling and coffee cake. The finish is long with hints of burnt sugar, figs and leather.
