Highland Park 12yr Single Malt Scotch

A fresh-faced, zesty whisky with a natural golden amber color direct from the cask. Spicy but mellow, with subtle smoke on the finish, it’s a great introduction to the unique warmth of Orkney heathered peat—and the convivial spirit of Highland Park's island home. 

As invigorating as the Orkney breeze. Fresh, clean and floral on the nose, with heathered honey and a touch of citrus. Sweet and spicy on the palate, with toasty notes of burnt orange, jasmine and fruitcake. A long finish with peppery spice, woody notes and orange zest, and the subtle, aromatic kick of smoke that you only get from Orkney heathered peat. 

To create the well-rounded character of the 12 year old, the distillery harmonized whiskies matured in hand-selected, first-fill, sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, which together deliver its main flavor profile of spicy-sweetness and mellow warmth. Additional refill casks round out the powerful notes from the first-fill casks, resulting in a classic, versatile whisky that’s always finely balanced.
