Founded by Don Indalecio Núñez Muro, El Viejito is a family business that has specialized in tequila production since 1937. With a strong commitment to the environment and social responsibility, they have exported their products without interruption since 1964. Currently managed by the third generation, El Viejito is the first tequila from Atotonilco and is also a proudly 100% Mexican company.

Traditional production methods include brick oven cooking, roller mill extraction, fermentation in closed stainless steel tanks, and distillation in hybrid stainless steel/copper pot stills.
