Tenet Wine The Pundit Syrah 2018
The wine is deep ruby in color with garnet highlights. Aromas of blackberry and currants mingle with dark earthy undertones along with bramble and tobacco. A decadent mouthfeel with flavors of cherry, blueberry, and dark chocolate is complimented by a long, juicy, complex finish.

This wine is a partnership between Chateau Ste. Michelle and famed French producer Michel Gassier and consultant Philippe Cambie. The aromas are expressive, with notes of huckleberry, flower and earth. Palate-staining flavors follow, showing richness, depth and, most of all, balance and texture. It's outright delicious, a mouthful of a wine and a big-time value. Editors' Choice.

Very attractive sweet berries and licorice with an ink undertone. Medium-bodied with round, creamy tannins that show a nice amount of chewiness and length. Some chocolate undertones to the fruit. Drink or hold.

Mainly Syrah from a handful of sites in the Columbia Valley, the 2018 Syrah The Pundit Columbia Valley sports a vivid purple hue to go with gorgeous blackberry and black raspberry fruit as well as notes of flowers, peppery herbs, and assorted spices. Medium to full-bodied, it has terrific overall balance and no hard edges, with a kiss of chalky minerality on the finish. It's a gorgeous 2017 to drink over the coming 4-5 years or so.
