Penelope Architect Creme Brulee

A limited-edition release from Penelope Bourbon. It is a 5-year-old straight bourbon whiskey finished with French oak staves and bottled at a robust 110 proof.

The "Crème Brûlée" label is a nod to the bourbon's heavy French oak influence, which imparts deep, dessert-like flavors.

NOSE
Thick, aromatic, and vanilla-forward with notes of vanilla custard, caramelized sugar, and toasted oak.

PALATE
Creamy and oily with rich, assertive vanilla, burnt caramel, brown sugar, and a balancing touch of rye spice.

FINISH
Long and warming with notes of lingering vanilla, toasted marshmallow, and a slight tannin structure.
