Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 5

Bottled straight from the cask, without the addition of water to reduce alcohol content, Highland Park's Cask Strength Series is all about combining the traditional craft of whisky making with a more modern approach to flavor exploration. The result is a deliciously intense whisky that sings with characterful flavor from the cask.

Powerful sherried complexity. Spicy cloves and bonfire smoke on the nose, followed by the rich sweetness of prunes and licorice on the palate, with a hint of subtle smoke from our Orkney heathered peat. The finish is equally spicy and rich with lingering dark dried fruit and smoked oak.
