Hartfield & Co. is proud to present Old Bourbon County to commemorate the rich history of Bourbon production in Bourbon County, Kentucky - the birthplace of Bourbon Whiskey. Featuring a wheated mash bill, and aged for 4 years in a 53 gallon barrel, Old Bourbon County represents the craft of whiskey making at its finest. This single barrel is cask strength, uncut and unfiltered.

Mashbill: 70% Corn, 20% Wheat, 10% Malted Barley

Much like its 110 proof cousin, this release has an amazing candy sweetness and caramel on the nose. The higher proof takes over the palate carrying more heat and spice as the caramel carries forward into candied apple and cinnamon.  The spirit lingers on the tongue for pleasant light finish that brings hints of sweet apricot.
