Foursquare Penultimus

A 15yr Double Maturation Single Blended Rum, distilled in both the copper Double-Retort Pot Still and the Continuous Twin Column Coffey Still of Foursquare.

This release was aged for 10 years in Ex-Bourbon Barrels, and then transferred into Ex-Moscatel Barrels for an additional 5 years.

AROMA
Bright and citrusy up front showing notes of caramelized orange peel and nougat, followed by an array of baking spices: nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice. This rounds out with a rich caramel undertone but still holding a bright green tropical note - hints of honeydew and kiwi.

PALATE
Round and bright on the palate with explosions of citrus and fruit character along the way. Notes of white peach, lychee, and rich dark fruits - the counterpoint of flavors is incredible. Great structure and complexity overall and finishes with a hint of dryness.
