Copper & Cask Limited Small Batch 7yr Toasted Oak Bourbon WS-2

The Copper & Cask Limited Small Batch Series is a collection of limited edition, custom batches, each carefully crafted by marrying together a handpicked selection of stand-out single barrels.

Limited Small Batch WS-2 is a marriage of 18 seven-year Bourbon barrels, all distilled at MGP Indiana and aged in Kentucky. Barrels included both the 21% rye mash bill and the 36% high-rye mash bill. The barrels were re-barreled into new toasted oak barrels for finishing. Like all Copper & Cask whiskeys, this bottling is released at Barrel Proof, non-chill filtered.

On the nose, this whiskey is packed with fruity aromas of cherry jam and figs. Once sipped, vibrant flavors of orange zest and rocky candy appear before giving way to notes of toasted marshmallow and demerara sugar. The finish is long and complex with hints of espresso, toasted almonds and leather.
