Copper & Cask Limited Small Batch 6yr Double Oak Rye WS-5

The Copper & Cask Limited Small Batch Series is a collection of limited edition, custom batches, each carefully crafted by marrying together a handpicked selection of stand-out single barrels.

Limited Small Batch WS-5 is a marriage of hand-selected rye barrels that were all distilled in Indiana and matured in Kentucky. After six years in their original charred oak barrels, the whiskey was batched and then re-barreled into new Char 1 oak barrels. Like all Copper & Cask whiskeys, this bottling is released at Barrel Proof, non-chill filtered.

On the nose, this whiskey is vibrant with notes of lemon peel and gumdrops. Once sipped, flavors of butterscotch and vanilla are present before giving way to notes of candied orange. The finish is long and spiced with the taste of cinnamon, molasses and tobacco.
