Planteray Rum Single Casks are limited, one-time releases of double-aged rums. First aged in bourbon barrels in a tropical climate, they are then shipped by sea to further mature in French oak Ferrand casks in the south-west of France according to Planteray's signature technique. The rums that make up this collection are further distinguished by a third maturation in specially selected casks that previously contained wine, beer or other spirits. Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel selects every cask individually to highlight each rum's character and enhance its personality. Only a handful of casks are bottled every year, in personalized numbered bottles, making these limited editions true collectors' items.
