This whiskey starts with a base of 100% Colorado grown malted barley - specifically a mix of pale malt, c45, c120, and chocolate malt. Each lends to a highly nuanced flavor profile. With a fermentation period of 5 days, and a meticulous double distillation process through squat-head pot stills, the whiskey takes shape. It is then aged in heavy toast + char #2 new oak barrels, nestled in the high alpine embrace of Buena Vista, CO - an adventure town at the base of Colorado's tallest peaks.

Since the distillery's first batch in 2011, Deerhammer American single malt continues to redefine the flavors and future of American whiskey. Aged for a minimum of four years and bottled at 102 proof, it unveils captivating notes of sweet coffee, cacao, caramel, and spices.
