Plantation Rum Under the Sea Guyana 2007
A bold and richly complex rum distilled in 2007 in Guyana, crafted from molasses and aged to perfection. This exceptional spirit is the result of a one-week fermentation and a unique blend of Port Mourant double wooden pot still and column still distillation, offering a rare depth of character.
Matured for 13 years in 200L ex-bourbon casks under the intense tropical climate of Guyana, the rum was then refined for an additional 2 years in 350L Ferrand casks in Europe, adding layers of finesse and complexity.
Bottled at a robust 51.0% ABV, this rum delivers a powerful yet elegant tasting experience—an outstanding expression of Guyana’s iconic distilling heritage.
