The Pre-Prohibition style delivers a complex, grain forward flavor profile.  Sweet corn and stone fruit on the nose gives way to cinnamon on the palate.  Malted Barley heavily influences the finish with notes of smoke and tobacco.

When Hartfield & Co. brought Bourbon Whiskey back to Bourbon County after 95 years, it was their intention to design a line of whiskeys that represented the spirit the way it was made before prohibition closed 26 distilleries in the county in 1920. They resurrected production techniques from ages past for the Pre-Prohibition line. 

Mashbill: 62% Corn, 19% Rye, 19% Malted Barley
