The eighth release in Frank August’s Case Study series is an 8-year wheated bourbon selected from winter-distilled barrels and bottled at barrel strength, 108.8 proof.
Expect crème brûlée, baked pear and toasted pecan on the nose, followed by dark caramel, maple and baked cherry. A creamy texture leads into a long finish of vanilla custard, toasted oak and gentle spice.
