Read below for tasting notes provided by manager Tony Mclaughlin:

I originally tasted this on Saturday 7/19 and then re-tasted it on Monday and Tuesday...damn, my work is tough.

Beautiful color, brownish gold with yellow highlights and long legs. There is a faint smell of alcohol on the nose, but when you take into account that it's 133 proof, it is not overpowering. Almost barely noticeable. Nice amounts of vanilla as the base of the nose with a touch of baked spices rounding it out.

The vanilla is more pronounced on the palate. Very clean. Once again, the alcohol is present in the mouth, but it is not overpowering or out of balance. I get a touch of caramelization (is that a word) in the mouth. This can easily be enjoyed straight from the bottle or with a cube to open it up. The finish is nice and long, but long in a good way, not the "I can't get this flavor out of my mouth" way. All in all, a very solid release.

For a peek behind the curtain...I was going to write this review yesterday but it tasted terrible. I had a bit of heartburn and was not feeling 100%. Today's tasting was more in line with Saturday's tasting. At least as far as I can remember. So I think this is far more representative of the actual flavor/taste of the Whiskey.
