New American Oak has always been a key feature of Bourbon, but for America's 250th, Copper & Cask wanted to double down on its influence in the whiskey. For secondary finishing, the distillery used ZAK Cooperage Wave Stave Char 1 barrels to craft a dark and bold Bourbon with ample sweet notes of caramel and fruit.
