Copper & Cask Small Batch Series 7yr Port Toasted Rye Batch 12

Small Batch 12 is crafted from 8 hand-selected barrels of 7-year 95% Rye whiskey. The majority of the whiskey was finished in Tawny Port barrels, with a small percentage finished in new toasted oak. The finished barrels were then batched and rested before being bottled at cask-strength, 120.2 proof.

On the nose, this whiskey is robust with aromas of plums and brown sugar. Once sipped, flavors of molasses and toasted marshmallow are present before giving way to notes of cherry pie and chai tea. The finish is long and layered with hints of baked apple, clove and orange zest.
