Allegiant Small Batch Bourbon

Allegiant Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey is distilled and matured in western Kentucky using a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley. The whiskey is aged for a minimum of 4 years before batching and blending. A small amount of double-oaked whiskey using new Char 1 barrels is added to the final blend to bring an extra layer of toast and wood aromas.

On the nose, this whiskey displays aromas of baked apples and dried currants.  Once sipped, sweeter flavors of clover honey and rock candy appear before revealing livelier notes of orange zest and cinnamon candies.  The finish is medium with hints of vanilla pudding, cherry compote and pipe tobacco.
