Chateau La Tour de Mons 2019
Chateau La Tour de Mons is a classic wine, elegant and pure and fully respectful of the great terroir of Margaux. With a vineyard planted of 61% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc, Chateau La Tour de Mons matures for 12 months in French oak barrels.
With an intense color, the wine displays a very broad aromatic range that combines woody, spicy and fruity notes. Elegant and distinguished, this enticing wine, rich in density and concentration with a fine tannic structure offers a fantastic potential for aging.

Now owned by the team at Labegorce and Marquis d'Alesme, and it's an enjoyable vintage with evident juice and grip running through the palate. Always a good value Margaux, which opens to show creamy blackberry texture and traces of violet florality.

The 2019 La Tour de Mons is a very pretty, floral Margaux to drink now and over the next few years. Crushed flowers, spice, cedar, tobacco and blood orange all grace this understated, classy Margaux.

A pretty nose of blueberries, cherries, dried leaves, truffles and baking spices. Medium-bodied with fine tannins. Velvety, with rich cherry notes and a fleshy, polished and flavorful finish. Drink from 2024.

The 2019 Château La Tour De Mons is solid, with medium-bodied aromas and flavors of savory red fruits, leather, dried herbs, and chalky minerality. Balanced, with building tannins and outstanding length, it's going to drink well for 15 years.
