For the Double Oak Old Rickhouse Whiskey, Starlight Distillery takes their fully matured small batch Rye at cask strength into a new heavy toasted and lightly charred oak barrel. At Starlight, they worked extensively with their select cooperages to craft new innovative barrel profiles that were custom made to their precise specifications.
TASTE
Starts off with citrus, butterscotch candy and caramel that softens in the mid palate, with hints of french vanilla, orange peels with sweet toasted oak.
