Starlight Distillery Mizunara Reserve Bourbon

Small batch, cask strength, limited release. Farm-to-bottle, utilizing grains from Starlight's 700+ acre farm. Made with a sweet mash process and double pot distilled with a Vendome copper pot still. Eight-barrel blend of Starlight's 8 year signature 3-4 grain bourbon mash bills.

First Barrel: Fire-charred, new American white oak barrels

Second Barrel: 200-500 year old Japanese Mizunara oak, grown in the northernmost island of Japan

This Bourbon opens with aromas of nutmeg, hazelnut, mocha, spice, ginger, and orange zest. The palate unfolds with bright cherry, cedar, cinnamon, and spice. A lingering finish highlights oak and cherry, tapering off with vanilla and spice.
