This cuvee of Nerello Mascalese is sourced from three biodiverse terraced vineyards - Piano Dario, Rampante and Sciaranuova - situated on the north side of the mountain. Surrounded by chestnut and downy oak trees, these volcanic sites produce wines of supreme balance, encapsulating the unique character of Etna's DOC wines. Ghiaia Nera is their most authentic expression.
