M&H Elements Red Wine Cask Single Malt Whisky

M&H Elements Red Wine Cask Single Malt Whisky

___

Ex-red wine casks that were sourced from Israel's finest wineries were picked for this part of the Elements trilogy. The Mediterranean's climate, variety of soil types, hot sunny days and cool nights bring a spicy and unique flavor to Israeli wine - and in turn, the M&H casks.

The wine casks used in the Elements Red Wine are a celebration of local terroir, creating a floral single malt with notes of dark chocolate.

AROMA
Red dried fruits, ginger, oak, and delicate coconut bouquet lead a gentle mineral perfume.

PALATE
Light bodied. Wine flavors coat the mouth, accompanied by subtle oak and vanilla notes, followed by gentle floral blossoms.

FINISH
Medium. The dried fruits and wine linger, finishing with a touch of dark raisins.

M&H is Israel's first whisky distillery. Located in one of Tel Aviv’s up and coming neighborhoods, M&H is a part of the city’s fabric, among entrepreneurs and innovators, makers and artisans.

Israel’s 300 sunny days in an average year and the Mediterranean climate are the distillery's greatest advantage. Hot climate maturation means that their whisky ages rapidly, yet significantly gracefully. Whisky made in warmer weather takes on specific terroir which yields unique flavors that somewhat differ from their Old-World counterparts. The distillery's methods, technique and equipment carry on centuries-old knowledge and they keep the tradition of minimum three years of aging.
