D'Aristi Xtabentún
D'Aristi Xtabentún is a Mexican liqueur made with honey, anisette and rum. The Mayans native to the Yucatan region from where Xtabentún hails made drinks from the Xtabentún flowers. Today, the liqueur is made with honey from that same flower, which is then fermented then combined with rum and anisette.
Fans of anise flavored liqueurs, like pastis, raki or ouzo, will find much to love about Xtabentún. The spicy zip of the anise adds to the sweet, rich honey for a aromatic and compelling drink that works fine on its own, and really sings in cocktails.
