Valduero Reserva 2011
Complex, intense, and very fine, with a high concentration of black fruit, very well integrated with notes from its ageing. A great range of spices open out, giving notes of sweet spices, coffee, chocolate, tobacco, good cedar wood and nice toasted notes. A light balsamic background with a slightly floral touch. This classic red wine is elegant and serious, tasty and fleshy, with a very good balance between the fruit and the wood. On the palate it is smooth and silky. Perfect acidity and powerful, ripe tannins. A long finish, leaving fruity and balsamic sensations.
Voted One of Tim Atkin's Ribera Del Duero Top 100 Wines!
"A wine that’s built to develop in bottle, this is smoky and toasty on the nose, with French and American oak aromas, but segues into a well-balanced palate with flavours of fig and blackcherry. 2020-28."
