For fans of Ron Swanson/Nick Offerman, this bottle of Lagavulin is a must have! Lagavulin Offerman Edition 11yr Charred Oak Cask is named in honor of the actor Nick Offerman, a Lagavulin enthusiast who has appeared in numerous ads for the brand.

Nick Offerman is a lover of all things wood, Lagavulin and steak. By combining these three passions, a most delectable and exceptional whisky is born. Lagavulin collected casks of American White Oak, with a few European Oak thrown in for culture, all of which had previously held either scotch or wine. The cask interiors were shaved down and then heavily re-charred before they filled them with their golden 11-year single malt whisky for maturation.

This is the perfect whisky to accompany any medium-rare steak. With hints of vanilla, red berries, sea salt brine and Lagavulin's signature smoke, this whisky not only shines on its own, but highlights and accentuates those perfect steak flavors.

This is the third Lagavulin Offerman Edition, following the original Lagavulin Offerman Edition 11 Year and the second release, which was also an 11 year Scotch, but finished in Guinness Casks.
