Ferre I Catasus Terra de Fic 1 Red Blend
Grenache and young Carignan come together in equal parts to give birth to Terra de Fic 1. With a strikingly accurate presentation, the vine stock drawn on its label symbolizes the importance of the land where the grapes come from: the Priorat region. In every sip of this red wine, you can taste the presence of its history, when in the twelfth century the monks of the Carthusian monastery of Escaladei from Provence brought vine growing and winemaking techniques to this wonderful land. The tradition has continued through generations giving birth to the only qualified appellation of origin in Catalonia.
Cherry maroon with violet hues. Tear marked and persistent. Intense aroma of ripe black fruit, leaving some milk tones with a balsamic and notes from the boot. The palate has a fresh entry and good acidity, with a long lingering finish with aromas of aging.
Blend: Carinyena, Garnatxa
