Foursquare 2010 Single Blended Rum

A 12 year Aged Single Blended Rum, consisting of both Artisanal Pot and Traditional Twin Column Coffey distilled molasses rums.

Aged for 12 years entirely in Ex-Bourbon barrels.

All distillation, maturation, blending and bottling occurring entirely on-site at the Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados.

Bottled at 60% ABV - 120 Proof

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
A full bodied, yet deceptively elegant sipper - especially at full proof - 60% ABV - with a long, pleasing finish.

AROMA:
Notes of spiced orange, star anise and vanilla give way to red licorice, marasca cherries and dark chocolate.

PALATE:
Elegant and lengthy - opens with clove, cinnamon and baking spices, balanced by fresh black plums, stone fruits, bananas fost, caramel, and a hint of pineapple and toasted pine nuts.
