Clay Shannon Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
This stunning Cabernet Sauvignon is a tale of two appellations within Lake County. Crafted with grapes grown in the High Valley and Red Hills appellations, it’s a seamless representation of the best of both worlds.
Together, these vineyards produce a wine with rich cassis aromas marked by notes of lavender and vanilla, that lead to raspberry and cherry flavors elevated with a long tobacco and redcurrant finish.
Bright fruit, spice, texture, and all of the tannin is a hallmark of the high elevation vineyards of Lake County. The dark fruits, old world characters and dried herbs come from the lower elevations of north Napa County.

This deep and delicious wine holds its black-cherry and black-currant flavors firmly with fine-grained tannins as the wine seeps into every corner of the palate, exuding richness tempered only by lightly restraining acidity and the soft tannins. Best from 2030. Editors’ Choice. |
