Maison Bertrand Ravache 2018 Léo de la Gaffelière
Leo de la Gaffeliere was born of a common vision shared by the Count Leo de Malet Roquefort and his son Alexandre. Driven by their mutual passion and thoughtful attention to their terroir, this father and son duo has produced a wine affirming their love of creation and process in the precise expression of this Bordeaux.
With an intense ruby red color, Leo de la Gaffeliere, Saint Emilion exhibits a bravura of deep black fruit along with vanilla and spice. A rounded start for this full-bodied wine revealing woody, soft tannins, and ends with a touch of licorice on the palate.

A rich, structured Right Bank wine, this has a dense, black-fruit character. It is still young and demands time to bring out the generous fruit and structure. The wine's weight and density will repay aging. Drink from 2022. |
